I bought a new house! On 15Aug2000 my offer was accepted. On 7Sept2000 I moved in. Wow. I'm working on getting more pictures. In the meantime, here's one from the listing:
The most exciting feature? The 6+ car garage/workshop. The center stall is easily tall enough to hold a full-sized RV. The side stalls are just as deep and can easily swallow 2 cars each. The interior dimensions are 36'x33'x15' (height) It's an older house, built in 1964. Unlike many houses of that vintage, this one is already hooked up to the town sewer. It's 3200+ square feet on 1.2+ acres. 3 bedrooms, 2.75 baths. There's a huge deck (visible in the picture) with a large carport underneath. Behind the house is a hot tub. Downstairs is a daylight basement (with pool table) and wet bar. Upstairs is a nice house. As with many houses of this vintage, the bedrooms and closets are small by modern standards. The kitchen is reasonable, and there's a formal living room. I'm mixed between busting at the seams with great expectations and wondering if I'm completely nuts. I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle.
The garage/workshop. It's ~35-38' deep. The pool table and wet bar in the basement. The kitchen and breakfast nook. The living room/dining room from the dining room side. Viewed from the living room side. The upstairs hallway.
