I recently took a trip to Europe. The impetus for the trip was the Edelweiss Alps Mediterranean Tour. Since the tour started early in a week and ended late in a week I decided to spend the weekends in Europe, to give me time to adjust, sightsee, etc. As it turned out the final weekend was the start of Oktoberfest in Munich. This was very convenient.
